We collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics to improve the app. No personal information is collected or stored. We do not require accounts, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Although Drowse is listed in the Health & Fitness category as a sleep aid, it does not access, collect, store, or share any health data. This includes, but is not limited to, sleep patterns, sleep duration, heart rate, biometric data, or any other data defined as "Health Data" under Google Play's policies. The app plays ambient sounds to help you fall asleep, it does not monitor or track your sleep or health in any way.
We use PostHog to process anonymous usage data. This data cannot be used to identify you. Examples include which screens are visited, which sounds are selected, and how the timer is used. You can review PostHog's privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.
We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and error diagnostics. This may include device model, operating system version, app version, and technical error details. No personal information is included. You can review Sentry's privacy policy at sentry.io/privacy.
The app checks for over-the-air updates via Expo Updates. This involves sending basic device and app version metadata to Expo's servers. No personal information is included.
Your preferences and app state (selected sound, timer setting, and usage counters) are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.
Drowse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, export, or delete. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored preferences are removed with it.
